MIPS Technologies from china has announced the availability of the world’s first tablet running on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), Novo 7.

Priced under $100, this snazzy tablet is powered by 1GHz single core MIPS-based XBurst CPU with Vivante GC860 GPU core. MIPS Technologies, a China-based tech company and CPU provider for mobile multimedia applications, has announced the availability of the world’s first tablet running on the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), Novo 7.

7-inch capacitive multitouch screen,
Supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n,
USB 2.0, HDMI 1.3 and microSD
support for 3D graphics
1080p video decoding and dual front/rear cameras
The company also plans to launch the tablet in 8 and 9-inch versions.
